Position:PhD Student (2026-present), PhD Chemical Engineering, Department of Chemical Engineering, KFUPM.
Mr. Jiddan holds a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering from ITN Malang, Indonesia and is currently pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the Department of Chemical Engineering, KFUPM. Prior to his doctoral studies, he gained valuable industrial experience at PT Pertamina (Persero), where he worked on renewable energy technologies for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) production, as well as at APP Sinarmas as an R&D Analyst in the pulp and paper industry. He is currently conducting his PhD thesis under the supervision of Dr. Christos D. Argyropoulos as a member of the CFD & HSE Simulation Research Group and co-supervision of Dr. Mohammad Fahad Al-Khater. His doctoral thesis is entitled “Multiscale modelling of waste cooking oil hydrotreating for sustainable aviation fuel production.”
