Biography

Position:Mx Student (2024-present), Master Process Safety Engineering, Department of Chemical Engineering, KFUPM

Ms Wejdan Alhowaiti holds a BSc in Chemistry from Tabuk University, KSA and she is an HSE expert (certified NEBOSH and IOSH) with extensive experience in hazard identification and incident investigation. She is currently pursuing a Master in Process Safety Engineering at the Department of Chemical Engineering, KFUPM and conducting her master’s thesis under the supervision of Dr. Christos D. Argyropoulos as part of the CFD & HSE Simulation Research Group. Her thesis is titled “Enhancing Safety in Circular Economy Industries: A Field-Oriented Validation of CE-SAFER Using Advanced Process Hazard Analysis.”
