Assistant Professor Christos D. Argyropoulos has been invited to 9th Global HSE – International Conference & Exhibition on Health, Safety & Environment

It was an immense honor and privilege to be invited to the 9th Global HSE – International Conference & Exhibition on Health, Safety & Environment, a leading event encompassing all major industrial sectors. From May 19-22, 2025, the Gulf Convention Centre in the Kingdom of Bahrain buzzed with insightful discussions and groundbreaking ideas.
One of the highlights was participating as a panellist on Day 2 for Panel 2: 'Transforming the Future of HSE Culture.' It was a fantastic experience collaborating with accomplished colleagues—Sara Alshamri, Alawi Almajid, Rose Bakri, and Thomas Maier—to share perspectives and shape the discourse on critical HSE advancements.
On Day 3, I presented in the technical session on 'Process Safety and Risk Management,' proudly sharing the work of my recently established independent CFD & HSE Simulation Research Group at KFUPM. This was a significant platform to demonstrate our contributions to the field.
Beyond the formal agenda, the conference was invaluable for its networking opportunities. I reconnected with many KFUPM alumni and current students from the MX Process Safety Program, and engaged with brilliant engineers from diverse companies and industrial sectors. These conversations sparked discussions about the future of HSE, fostering potential collaborations and innovative strategies to tackle emerging challenges.
A special thank you to the organizers for an truly exceptional conference. The quality of the speakers and panellists was outstanding, and the accommodation and hospitality were nothing short of perfect. Every detail contributed to an amazing and memorable experience.
