Attendance and Presentation at the 2025 AIChE Annual Meeting in Boston, MA, USA

We are excited to announce that three Abstracts (2 oral presentation and 1 poster) from our CFD & HSE Simulation Group has been accepted at the 2025 Annual Meeting in Boston. The Abstracts are the following:

“Global Open Indoor Air Quality Standards (GO IAQS): A Guide to Cleaner Air” by Asst. Prof. Christos D. Argyropoulos and Mr. Sotirios Papathanasiou.

“Integrated CFD and Process Modeling of Ethylene Epoxidation in a Fluidized-Bed Reactor: Conversion, Selectivity, and Hotspot Mitigation” by Miss Abrar Elhussien, Dr. Arsenios E Chatzimichailidis, Dr. Symeon Savvopoulos and Asst. Prof. Christos D. Argyropoulos.

“Bridging Experimental Validation and CFD Modeling for Reactor Scale-up” by Asst. Prof. Christos D. Arygropoulos and Dr. Symeon Savvopoulos.

The 2025 AIChE Annual Meeting represents a vital platform for advancing the frontier of Chemical Engineering, and we are eager to present our findings and engage in discussions that push the boudaries of research.
